The animals were skeptical, but they decided to give the tortoise a chance. They started to gather sticks and branches and brought them to the edge of the pit. The tortoise used his strong and clever mind to tie the sticks and branches together and built a ladder.
With the ladder in place, the tortoise climbed out of the pit and was free once again. The other animals were amazed by the tortoise’s intelligence and resourcefulness. They realized that even though the tortoise was small, he was mighty in his mind.
From that day on, the tortoise was respected and admired by all the animals in the jungle. And whenever they faced a difficult problem, they would remember the clever tortoise and his ability to find a solution through intelligence and resourcefulness.
