The Clever Crow.

The Clever Crow

Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a clever crow. This crow was known for his intelligence and wit, and the villagers often marveled at his tricks and antics.
One day, the crow was flying around the village when he spotted a farmer’s field filled with ripe corn. The crow immediately swooped down and began to peck at the corn, relishing the sweet taste.
However, the farmer soon noticed the crow and chased him away. Undeterred, the crow decided to come up with a plan to get his hands on the corn.
The next day, the crow returned to the field, but this time, he brought along a small stick. He carefully placed the stick in the ground and then began to peck at the corn again. When the farmer came running, the crow flew away, but not before dropping the stick into the cornfield.
The farmer scratched his head, wondering how the stick got there, but he didn’t think much of it and went back to his work.
The next day, the clever crow returned to the field once again, but this time, he brought along several sticks. He placed them in the ground and then began to peck at the corn. When the farmer came running, the crow once again flew away, dropping the sticks into the field.
This time, the farmer was puzzled and decided to keep a watchful eye on the field. The next day, when the crow returned, the farmer saw him placing the sticks in the ground and pecking at the corn. He realized that the crow was using the sticks to prop up the cornstalks so that he could easily reach the corn.
The farmer was impressed by the crow’s intelligence and decided to leave a small portion of the field for the clever bird to enjoy.
From that day on, the crow and the farmer had a mutual respect for each other, and the villagers continued to marvel at the clever crow’s tricks and antics.
