The Cunning Hyena

Once upon a time, in the heart of the African savannah, there lived a cunning hyena. He was known far and wide for his shrewdness and his ability to outsmart the other animals in the jungle. The lion, who was always looking for a chance to prove his might, eagerly accepted the challenge. The hyena then proposed that they both carry a heavy log across the jungle and whoever reached the other side first would be declared the winner.
The lion agreed to the challenge and they both set off. However, the hyena had a trick up his sleeve. As they walked, the hyena pretended to stumble and fall, dropping his end of the log. The lion, thinking that he had won, continued to carry the log alone.
But as the lion walked, he soon realized that the log was getting heavier and heavier. He struggled to carry it across the jungle, while the hyena watched from a distance, laughing to himself.
Finally, the lion reached the other side, exhausted and out of breath. The hyena then revealed his trick and laughed at the lion, saying, “You may be the king of the jungle, but you are not as smart as you think you are.”
The lion was humiliated and angry, but he knew that he had been outsmarted by the cunning hyena. From that day on, the other animals in the jungle were wary of the hyena, knowing that he was always up to something. And the lion learned a valuable lesson about the importance of not underestimating his opponents.
