The Cunning Baboon

The Cunning Baboon

Once upon a time, in a dense forest, there lived a group of baboons. One of the baboons was known for his intelligence and cunning nature. He was always looking for ways to outsmart the other animals in the forest.
One day, the baboon saw a farmer passing by with a basket of fruits. He noticed that the farmer had left his basket unattended and took advantage of the situation. The baboon quickly approached the basket and started eating the fruits.
The farmer saw what was happening and tried to chase the baboon away, but the baboon was too quick for him. The farmer then decided to set a trap for the baboon. He placed a few fruits in a basket and tied it to a tree with a rope. The plan was to catch the baboon when he came to steal the fruits.
The cunning baboon, however, was one step ahead of the farmer. He approached the basket and saw the rope tied to the tree. He then started filling his mouth with as many fruits as he could without touching the basket. As he tried to leave, he found that his mouth was too full to fit through the rope. The baboon was trapped!
The farmer came back to find the baboon trapped and started laughing at him. The baboon, however, was not ready to give up. He started using his intelligence to get out of the trap. He pretended to be asleep, hoping that the farmer would come closer to check on him. As soon as the farmer approached, the baboon jumped up and ran away, taking the basket of fruits with him.
The farmer was left standing there, amazed at the cunningness of the baboon. From that day on, the baboon was known as the most intelligent and cunning animal in the forest.
