The Cunning Tiger

Deep in the heart of the jungle, there lived a cunning tiger. He was known throughout the land for his sly and clever ways, and he was feared by all who crossed his path.
One day, the tiger was out hunting for his next meal when he came across a group of monkeys playing in the trees. The tiger knew that monkeys were quick and agile, and he would need to be very cunning if he wanted to catch one.
So, the tiger decided to use his wits to outsmart the monkeys. He approached them with a friendly demeanor, pretending to be their friend. He told them that he was just passing through and that he meant them no harm.
The monkeys were cautious at first, but the tiger was very convincing. He even offered to share his catch with them if they would help him catch a monkey.
The monkeys were tempted by the offer and agreed to help the tiger. They showed him where the juiciest fruits were and even helped him set up a trap.
But the tiger was too clever for the monkeys. He pretended to be caught in the trap and cried out for help. The monkeys rushed to his aid, but as soon as they got close enough, the tiger pounced on them and caught one for his meal.
The other monkeys were horrified and realized that they had been tricked by the cunning tiger. They ran away, vowing never to trust him again.
From that day on, the tiger continued to use his cunning ways to catch his prey. He was known as the most cunning tiger in the jungle, and all the animals feared him. But they also respected him, for they knew that he was a master of his craft and that he would always find a way to survive.

Moral

1. Appearances can be deceiving: Just because someone appears to be friendly or harmless, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they are trustworthy.
2. Don’t underestimate your opponents: Even if someone seems weaker or less intelligent than you, they may still be able to outsmart you if you let your guard down.
3. Be careful who you trust: It’s important to be cautious when dealing with strangers or people you don’t know well, as they may have ulterior motives.
4. Pride can lead to downfall: The tiger’s overconfidence and arrogance ultimately led to his defeat, showing that being too proud can be a weakness.
5. Honesty is the best policy: If the tiger had been honest with the other animals from the beginning, he may have been able to earn their trust and avoid his eventual downfall.
