The Foolish Bird

The Foolish Bird

Once upon a time, in a dense forest, there lived a foolish bird. This bird was known for its silly and careless nature. It would often fly too close to the ground, not paying attention to the dangers that lurked around.
One day, while flying low, the bird saw a shiny object on the ground. It was a golden necklace that had fallen from a traveler’s bag. The foolish bird quickly picked it up and flew to its nest, excited about its new treasure.
As the bird showed off its necklace to its friends, a wise owl observed from a nearby tree. The owl knew that the necklace was not meant for the bird and that it belonged to someone else. The owl tried to warn the bird about the dangers of keeping something that did not belong to it, but the foolish bird paid no heed.
Days passed, and the traveler returned to the forest, searching for his lost necklace. The wise owl informed him about the foolish bird and how it had taken the necklace. The traveler was furious and demanded that the bird return his necklace.
The foolish bird, too afraid to face the traveler, had hidden the necklace in its nest. When the traveler arrived, the bird denied having taken the necklace. The traveler searched the bird’s nest and found the necklace hidden in a corner.
The traveler took his necklace and left, leaving the foolish bird ashamed and embarrassed. The bird realized that its foolishness had caused it to lose the respect of its friends and the trust of others.
From that day on, the foolish bird learned to be more careful and responsible. It understood that taking something that did not belong to it was wrong, and it vowed to never repeat its mistake again.
And so, the foolish bird became known for its wisdom and caution, and it lived happily ever after.
