The Greedy Leopard

The Greedy Leopard

Once upon a time, in a dense jungle, there lived a leopard named Raja. Raja was known for his agility and strength, but he was also known for his greediness. He always wanted more than he needed, whether it was food or possessions.
One day, Raja came across a group of monkeys who had just finished feasting on a delicious mango tree. The aroma of the ripe mangoes was too tempting for Raja to resist. He approached the monkeys and asked them for some mangoes. The monkeys, being kind-hearted, offered him some of their leftover fruit.
But Raja was not satisfied with just a few mangoes. He wanted all the mangoes on the tree for himself. He threatened the monkeys and demanded that they give him all the mangoes or else he would harm them.
The monkeys were scared and didn’t want to get into a fight with the powerful leopard. So they agreed to give him all the mangoes. Raja was overjoyed and began to devour the mangoes greedily.
But as he ate more and more mangoes, he started feeling sick. He realized that he had eaten too much and had no one to blame but himself. He lay down under the mango tree, feeling miserable and regretful.
Meanwhile, the monkeys had watched Raja eat all the mangoes and felt angry and cheated. They decided to teach him a lesson. They gathered all the mango pits and threw them at Raja, hitting him on the head and body.
Raja was in pain and couldn’t move. He realized that his greed had led him to this situation. He apologized to the monkeys and promised to never be greedy again.
From that day on, Raja learned to be content with what he had and never again tried to take more than he needed. The monkeys forgave him and they all lived in peace and harmony in the jungle.
