The Greedy Rat

Once upon a time, in a small village, there was a rat named Rascal. He was known as the greediest rat in the village. He would always steal food from the farmers’ fields and the villagers’ homes. He had a reputation for being cunning and clever, and no one could catch him.
One day, Rascal saw a farmer’s barn filled with grains. He couldn’t resist the temptation and decided to sneak in and steal some. As he was enjoying his feast, he noticed a big bucket of flour. He had heard that flour was worth a lot of money, so he decided to take it with him.
As he was dragging the bucket out of the barn, he heard a loud noise. It was the farmer, who had caught him in the act. Rascal tried to run away, but the bucket was too heavy, and he couldn’t move fast enough. The farmer caught up to him and grabbed him by the tail.
Rascal begged and pleaded with the farmer to let him go, promising never to steal again. But the farmer was tired of Rascal’s thievery and decided to teach him a lesson. He took the bucket of flour and poured it all over Rascal’s head.
The flour was so thick that Rascal couldn’t see or move. He was stuck in one spot, covered in flour. The other rats in the village saw him and laughed at him. Rascal was humiliated and ashamed.
From that day on, Rascal was no longer known as the greediest rat in the village. He had learned his lesson and became a changed rat. He never stole again and even helped the other rats in the village. He had finally realized that being greedy only brought trouble and humiliation.
