The Greedy Wolf

Once upon a time, in a deep forest, there lived a greedy wolf. He was known for his selfishness and cunning ways. The wolf would often roam around the forest, searching for prey to satisfy his hunger. One day, he came across a group of rabbits who were peacefully grazing in the meadow.
The wolf’s eyes lit up with greed as he saw the rabbits. He thought to himself, “If I can catch all these rabbits, I won’t have to hunt for days.” With this thought in mind, he pounced on the rabbits and began chasing them. The rabbits, being quick and agile, managed to escape from the wolf’s clutches.
Disappointed and hungry, the wolf decided to come up with a new plan. He went to the river and saw a group of fish swimming. The wolf thought to himself, “If I can catch all these fish, I won’t have to hunt for days.” He then jumped into the river and began to catch as many fish as he could. After a while, the wolf caught so many fish that he couldn’t carry them all.
As he was making his way back to his den, the wolf came across a group of birds. He thought to himself, “If I can catch all these birds, I won’t have to hunt for days.” So, he dropped the fish and began to chase the birds. However, the birds were too fast for the wolf, and he couldn’t catch any of them.
Exhausted and hungry, the wolf realized that his greed had led him to lose all the food he had gathered. He understood that his selfishness had caused him to lose everything. From that day on, the wolf decided to hunt only what he needed and not to be greedy anymore.
And so, the wolf learned his lesson and lived the rest of his life as a contented and wise animal in the forest.
