So, the monkey quickly jumped off the crocodile’s back and onto a nearby tree, out of reach of the crocodile’s jaws. The crocodile was left feeling foolish and ashamed of himself for breaking his promise and trying to harm his friend.
From that day on, the monkey lived happily on his fruit tree, but he never forgot the importance of trust and loyalty. He knew that it was important to be cautious when making friends and to always be aware of their true intentions.
