The Clever Dog’s Discovery
Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a clever dog named Max. Max was known throughout the village for his intelligence and wit. One day, while walking through the forest, Max stumbled upon a hidden treasure chest. He could hardly believe his luck.
But as he approached the chest, he realized that it was locked. He tried to open it with his teeth, but it was no use. Max knew that he needed help. He decided to seek out the village’s wisest animal, the owl.
The owl listened to Max’s story and agreed to help him. She flew to the chest and examined it closely. After a few minutes, she turned to Max and said, “This chest is enchanted. Only the person who can answer the riddle inscribed on the chest can open it.”
Max was determined to solve the riddle. He read the inscription on the chest carefully:
“I am always hungry, I must always be fed. The finger I touch, will soon turn red. What am I?”
Max thought for a moment and then smiled. He knew the answer. “Fire!” he exclaimed.
The chest immediately opened, revealing a treasure trove of gold and jewels. Max and the owl were overjoyed. They knew that they had made an incredible discovery.
Max returned to the village a hero. Everyone was amazed by his cleverness and bravery. From that day on, Max was known as the dog who had outsmarted an enchanted chest. And he lived happily ever after, sharing his treasure with all of his friends in the village.
