The Lion’s Share

Once upon a time, in the heart of the African savannah, a group of animals lived together in harmony. There was a lion, a leopard, a jackal, and a crow. They all worked together to hunt for food and protect their territory.

They told him that they had caught the buffalo together, and therefore, they all deserved an equal share.
The lion was angry and roared, “I am the king of the jungle, and I deserve the lion’s share!”
The other animals were not intimidated by the lion’s roar and stood their ground. They told the lion that he could either accept an equal share or go hungry.
Finally, the lion realized that he had been unfair and agreed to share the meat equally. From that day on, the animals worked together to hunt and share their food equally. They all lived happily ever after, knowing that they were stronger together than they were alone. And the lion learned that sometimes, the lion’s share is not always the best share.
